President Robert opened with this message: "Whoever said that the only constant was change, was obviously not an Anglican"
As this was a Club Forum and there was no speaker, President Robert and David Bruce led the evening by going through upcoming projects/events for the club:
Nga Manu - Paraparaumu College project - Still looking for way to fund an educator for the course that could be run there.
Model Rail project - we now have a name and logo - Kapiti Express Model Rail project
Locked in for 16 -18 April.
Rosters for duties on the day to come out shortly. We will need additional help.
Summer Science Forum - Richard Campbell advised that one of the students we sponsored Cullen, has been selected to go to London for the international forum. A real feather in his cap.
Foodbank Collection - set for 27 May 2021. We will be responsible for Countdown and New World again.
Closing Comment (President Robert)
"Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you'll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself."
We meet at 6 pm every Wednesday except for the first Wednesday of each month. Please phone Graham 04 905 2626 by 5 pm Monday for catering purposes if you're attending on that Wednesday
