Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

See you in 2022.

The meeting

Members and guest enjoyed each other's company and a lovely Christmas meal, at the final meeting of the year.  It was great to see so many partners along for the evening.

It was also good to see President Rodger back at the club and he thanked everyone for their support over the past few months while he has been dealing with his illness.

Many thanks also to Ian and the Relish Cafe crew for the fabulous food and the lovely decorations.

New member inducted

The meeting was also special, because Alison Jarden was inducted into the club.  Alison, in her acceptance speech, said she felt very welcome at the club, even amongst an all male membership.  She was looking forward to making connections with the partners and the wider community.

Helping families through the Sallies

A former tradition was reintroduced this year, where members bought along Christmas presents, to be given out in the community, this year through the local Salvation Army Corps.

Salvation Army Social Work Manager Jan Patching thanked the club and its members/partners.  "We're thrilled at the range of presents given.  thank you for your generosity, these gifts will make a big difference to many struggling families here in Kapiti this Christmas" she said.
