Club Notices

  • There's a movie night at Shore Line on 11 November at 6pm.  Its a fund raiser of for Polio eradication.  Dinner at Eastern Egret to follow.  For details click here to email Michael Fagg.
  • David Bruce advised that on 15 October, he will be meeting with Paraparaumu College staff about the opportunities to connect students with Nga Manu for NCEA credits in Science.
  • The Pride of Workmanship network (cluster) project is scheduled for 11 March 2021 at the Otaki Racecourse.  Guest speaker is Tim Costley.  All clubs in the network will be asked to nominate candidates.
  • Richard Campbell advised that the club has nominated 2 students for the Summer Science Forum in January 2021 and its looking positive for both.
  • Richard also advised that Tamar Esson is the club's sponsored student for RYPEN.

The meeting

Wednesday night was the first opportunity to try out the Social evening, where the month had a 5th Wednesday.

President Robert and Graham Oliver had arranged a number of games to test the skills of those present.  4 teams were formed and Cadbury Favourites were on the line for the best team.
